Editing

A reader, Pamala, noticed some interesting edits to the chicken and socialism post:

Original:
"The deli lady completes all of the customer's order and then comes back to finishing packing my chicken. I pay, take the box, say my thank you's, and walk away from the counter. We were out of earshot when my husband mumbled something under his breath about socialism, which was ironically the exact word one of the other husband's in our small group said when I retold the chicken story upon arriving at our pastor's house."
Edited Version:
"The deli lady completes all of the customer's order and then comes back to finishing packing my chicken. I pay, take the box, say my thank you's, and walk away from the counter and go back in the car with my family. When I told my husband about what had happened, he mumbled something under his breath about socialism, which was ironically the exact word one of the other husband's in our small group said when I retold the chicken story upon arriving at our pastor's house. "
Oddly enough, she precedes the retelling of these events with:
"The following is, no exaggeration, just ask my husband, a relatively accurate documentation of the transaction that ensued:"
As Sue said, "Does that mean her and PC were together in the store and the kids alone in the car, or was JM lying and stating that PC was with her when he was in the car with the kids?"
